"Jacques L' Autre" (jacklauterdale)

I really would like to get a CB350 sometime in the near future, but up until this video hadn't found a good idea of what they sound like at speed. The answer is glorious.
The bike itself is glorious too. It's a knockout blend of classic motorcycle looks, and fairly cheap pricing. It would seem that the bike was popular with older, more mature riders in the 70s, as opposed to those hooligans on their 750s. What that means is that it's not too difficult to find one of those in good shape at a great price.

Wow, parts of that look exactly like the mad river valley corridor of rt100 in Vermont... Its not though...

One of my favorite CB's is the 350. Keep in mind the one in the video is a CB350F which has 4 cylinder engine as opposed to the "regular" CB350 with twin pots. If I don't own a CB or CX in the next couple of years I will personally deem my life a failure.

The 350F's do sound a lot more full than the twins. However, I prefer the twins. Half the amount of things to break. Here's my 1970 350 twin (which, coincidentally might be for sale soon).

My 1st 4 cylinder was a 350F-loved that bike. You'd have a better chance at finding a 400f (made more years) same glorious sound + DNA. Not to take anything away from the twin fans-but gawd are the F's smooth.

I have a '73 CL 350 with the scrambler pipes. Fun little bikes. Good luck on your search!

I also have two 72 750's waiting until after the wedding for a rebuild, so yeah, I'm partial to all configurations of vintage Hondas.
